The Seafair 4th of July is the best way to experience Independence Day in the Pacific Northwest.
This fun-packed event features a fully choreographed fireworks presentation accompanied by a musical score and a host of pre-show activities during the day.
4th of July festivities offer several free and reserved seating options and multiple vantage points to enjoy the show, with each location offering its own unique experience.
This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

At the north end of Lake Union, Gas Works Park offers a fun-filled festival atmosphere with activities for the entire family. Gas Works Park features an elevated hilltop view of the show with a tremendous eye-level perspective. The sound stage has live music and promotions throughout the day and at night, check out the glow-in-the-dark dance party before the blast-off ceremony. And don’t forget the food - Summer Fourth is guaranteed to have something for every palate. And if you get thirsty, there are beer gardens, Coca Cola drinks and water throughout the park.

Gas Works Park Map
There is free parking in the surrounding Gasworks Park neighborhood but finding spots can be difficult. Give yourself extra time and pack your patience. Consider rideshare, carpooling, or public transportation. Also, there is also a bike corral for those who prefer an alternative mode to travel.ADA Parking – Gas Works Parks has extremely limited ADA parking and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lake Union Park provides a spectacular setting to watch the annual fireworks show with all your friends and family.
This setting on the south end of Lake Union features a darker sky view facing north, creating a spectacular array of color booming across the water.
Set up shop in our general admission area or upgrade to premium seating on the lake shore!
While you’re there grab a drink from our beer garden, get a bite from local food trucks, delight in familiar jams from our DJ, then settle in for a choreographed light show with timed music.

Join us for the most exclusive party on the water; offering you and your friends a front row seat to the fireworks show from the Seafair open-air Ferry Boat.
Cruise Lake Union with your own private hosted bar, deck side games, and more.
The festivities include choreographed music that can only be seen and heard from Gas Works Park and Lake Union Park; both offering concert-quality sound system.
This is a once in a lifetime experience!
Tickets are limited and on a first come basis so book early.

• Anchorage allowed overnight until 0700 the morning of the 5th.
• 2100 hours Entry to Lk. Union closed
• 2220 hours Firework show to beginThe following rules will apply to vessels anchored overnight:
• No more than 3 boats to a raft
• No violations of the City noise ordinance
• No amplified sound(s)
• No anchoring within 100 yards of the marinas or shoreline
• Must pull all anchors by 0700 hours on 5 July
• No fireworks

Bring your own picnic or visit a broad selection of food vendors as you dine with the Seattle Skyline as your backdrop.
We encourage guests to bring blankets and light jackets, as it can get chilly once the fireworks begin.
